Why It Matters

In the Pointes daily, not driving out to them.

Brightwell works the Pointes every day, and the whole service area sits inside a fifteen-minute drive. That is the reason the schedule holds: arrival windows are real, and there is no travel charge to add.

It also means the first visit can usually happen the same week. Most weeks there are two or three openings left.

  • No travel charge anywhere inside the area.
  • Same-week openings, most weeks.

What the housing stock actually means

The Pointes are largely older homes, and older homes take longer than their square footage suggests. Plaster and crown moulding hold dust in a way flat drywall does not. Original hardwood needs a pH-neutral floor product and a damp mop, not a soaking. Hexagonal and subway tile from the 1920s has grout that a standard clean maintains but does not restore.

None of that is a problem. It is just the reason a first deep clean is usually the honest starting point in this part of town, with a standard clean holding it from there.

The parts that get skipped elsewhere

Built-ins, radiator covers, window sills and stair spindles are the four things people notice have been missed, and they are all common in Pointes houses. They are on the written checklist, so they are done on every visit rather than when there is time left over.

Which Pointe you are in

Grosse Pointe Park, Grosse Pointe City, Grosse Pointe Farms, Grosse Pointe Woods and Grosse Pointe Shores are all covered on the same terms: same checklist, same fixed pricing, same reclean guarantee, no travel charge between them.

What a first visit usually looks like

For most Pointes houses the first visit is a deep clean, typically four to six hours, because that is what it takes to get an older home to a baseline a standard clean can hold. After that a standard visit runs two to three hours and keeps it there.

You do not have to be home. If you are, you are welcome to walk the house at the end against the checklist. If a room is not right, say so within 24 hours and it gets cleaned again that week at no charge.
